Mt. Shirane

The center lake, Yugama, has mysterious emerald green water creating a contrast against the white moon-like surface of the mountains around it. At a pH of 1.2, the water of Lake Yugama is the most acidic in the world. A lot of tourists visit the popular spot year-round.
